Do you want your new shoes to be attractive and comfortable for a long time? Maintaining that condition only takes a little bit of effort. New technologies and production methods have made non-polish leather shoes possible, but for the traditionalists, there is still the polish variety available.

BASIC CARE
Polish regularly.
• Remove dust and dirt.
• Drip water onto the shoe.
• Apply Shoe Polish.
• Allow to dry and absorb the polish.
• Use duster to shine.
For added comfort and protection follow these few hints below:
1) Waterproofing
Although made strong, Toughees does not recommend immersing your shoes in water. If you expect to get your Toughees very wet, often then we advise waterproofing them. Applied to any material, this waterproofing protects footwear and clothing from the weather and stains. To get the best result, when the shoes are new, spray the waterproofing over the surface (which must be clean), keeping the spray upright and at a distance of about 30 cm. Leave to dry, do not rub. This procedure should be repeated once a week.
2) Personalize
To personalize your shoes, we recommend adapting them to your feet by putting in an insole. This will give you added comfort. Don’t forget to write your name on them in case you miss-place them.
3) Nourish and Renew
If the leather is nourished and well looked after, it avoids any external elements from penetrating and damaging the original features. See above for detailed instructions.
